August 22nd ushers in the energy of Key 9, The Hermit, the card of Virgo.
The Hermit calls for us to cultivate silence and stillness to foster a place of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in order to feed the soul. We are being asked to remove ourselves from the sensory overload of the world so that we may better understand our true essence; the authentic self devoid of the impressions of others and societal labels. When we are in the place of self awareness, to Know Thyself, we move towards self-actualization, to Master Thyself. Spirit asks that we not stop upon Mastery, but rather that we then become a beacon of hope, inspiration, and guidance for others. To focus not only with our eyes upon the natural wonders of the world, but the mysteries that surround and speak to us daily. For when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

8/22 Full Moon in Aquarius - Review the things in your life that prevent you from being authentically you, where you feel confined or restricted, and where you are prone to extremes and acting abruptly. This is a time to step into your role as a unique individual, to shed identities that are not yours, to release low levels of the personality, to find your center and balance, and to break free from the things that have become stagnant or prevent our internal spark from shining.
8/29 Mercury in Libra - Our communication tends to be more gentle and eloquent, we are able to convey our message into the world more easily. This is a time of being diplomatic and assertive, to weigh in on both sides while maintaining the middle ground of observance and understanding. We are able to not only see truths, but truth beyond our own, and the bigger picture in general.
9/6 New Moon in Virgo - This is a time for setting intentions around getting organized, cleaning out the things (and people) in your life that are not in Divine Order, health conscious decisions like diet and hygiene, career or work related goals and motivation, patience and being of service to others, and grounding yourself.
9/10 Venus in Scorpio - This is a time where we connect with others, particularly partners and close friends, on a much deeper emotional and soul level. Loyalty is key. Where passion, romance, sensuality, and seductiveness become an art form. Watch for feelings of jealousy, possessiveness, emotional manipulation and triggering.
9/14 Mars in Libra - This is a time to really evaluate your options and to make calculated decisions before taking action. We have the ability to fight for fairness and social justice, and to do it in a way that is productive rather than erratic and dismissive. Watch for analysis-paralysis, procrastination, approaching from the defensive position and being passive aggressive.
9/20 Full Moon in Pisces - Review the things in your life that serve as forms of escapism, are created from false realities and fantasies that prevent you from living authentically. To see clearly where you are emotionally vulnerable, impressionable, and lack necessary boundaries. This is also a time to take stock of your spiritual beliefs, those you seek guidance from, and to take what resonates with you and leave the rest.

Aries - 8 of Pentacles - Virgo season is about putting your nose to the grindstone and perfecting your craft through practice and further developing your skills. This is a time where you will need to maintain a close focus and to tune out the rest of the world. You may need to call on someone greater adept than you are, be prepared to soak it in.
Taurus - Ace of Wands - Virgo season is about Spirit handing you the Wand of Destiny and you deciding whether or not you want to accept it and run with it. This is a time where new creative ideas, inspirations and passions emerge. Where opportunity, growth and the potential for the not just the now, but the future, presents itself.
Gemini - 4 of Swords Reversed - Virgo season is about speaking up, speaking out, but avoiding mental exhaustion and burnout. It’s important to conserve your resources (you) and to discern when and where your input is needed. Stay silent and still too long and stagnation will set in, but move or speak too quickly or too often and risk falling on your own blade. Balance.
Cancer - Two of Wands Reversed - Virgo season is about taking a step back and working towards personal goals and alignment rather than going out and conquering the world. When we are able to center and align ourselves, we are able to better see the path before us, and to proceed out of Divine alignment and Will. Go back to the spark of the Ace.
Leo - 8 of Wands - Virgo season is about things coming in hot and heavy! Expect things to get moving rather quickly out of nowhere, and to see your creativity or passion project flourish. This is also a time where you have the potential to really embody The Hermit and work towards alignment with the Divine.
Virgo - 9 of Swords - Virgo season is about recognizing and addressing the things in your life that cause you anxiety, stress, worry, and depression .These are the mental-emotional expressions of the factor of fear. Fear prevents us from living in the moment, strips us of our true freedom, and has the ability to take endlessly. Only you have the power to overcome the thing that goes bump in the night.
Libra - 6 of Wands Reversed - Virgo season is about stepping down from the limelight and working on personal achievements that bear no witness other than your own heart. This can be a time where you need to watch your ego, and to remember that your worth or the value of your work is not dictated by the approval of others.
Scorpio - Emperor - Virgo season is about creating a solid foundation with a structure that you are able to build upon for the future. This is about stepping into an authoritative or leadership role, someone seen as adept and trusted. Make sure that you are taking the time to establish yourself as this authority figure rather than demanding it blindly.
Sagittarius - Queen of Cups Reversed - Virgo season is about going within and taking care of the self on a deep level, far beneath the surface of the physical. This is a time of tending to your emotional needs on a personal level in who you are, what you need and want, and how you can best take care of yourself before you show up for others. Be mindful of codependency.
Capricorn - 5 of Swords - Virgo season is about recognizing where you allow conflict, manipulation, resentment, and feelings of defeat to creep in. Ask yourself who you are in this picture. Are you dishing it out or receiving it? Perhaps you are dishing it out to yourself. Sometimes the best road is the high road, and the best reaction is no reaction.
Aquarius - The Tower Reversed - Virgo season is about finding balance and stability on solid foundations while recognizing where change needs to take place. This isn’t the time to be blowing up buildings and burning bridges in order to make progress, it’s more subtle. Inspiration may come in the form of nudges rather than hard shoves.
Pisces - 10 of Cups - Virgo season is about connection with others and the Divine, finding harmony in your relationships with others, and emotional wellness. Spend time with the ones that you care for, tend to the home and your sacred space, and devote time to self care and alignment with the Divine.
