Tarot Card of the Month: Four of Swords
The Four of Swords, Rest from Strife, is a reminder to relax, rest, and recuperate. This is a time for meditation and deep contemplation, to look back at the things that you have fought for and remember why they were worth fighting for in the first place. This is the card of being “battle worn”, so take this opportunity to find a little peace, focus, and a gain a clear vision for moving forward. Cultivate stillness and silence to allow your heart, mind and the Divine to show you the way forward.
Healing Crystal of the Month: Cavansite
Cavansite is a stone associated with the Throat Chakra, Third Eye Chakra and Crown Chakra. I bring about clear sight and understanding through clairvoyance and clairaudience as if the veil to the other side is rendered and the communication is no longer muffled or in a haze. It allows for an expanded consciousness and understanding of higher truths including possibilities one is unable to normally grasp. Cavansite is one of the preferred stones for those looking to read their Akashic Record, or the record of their soul’s memories through its previous incarnations. Working so well on these higher chakras, all extrasensory perception gifts are heightened. This stone is recommended for those looking to ease the mind and cultivate stillness in order to make room for revelations, breakthroughs, clear two way communication, prophecy, and spiritual enlightenment.
Cavansite Affirmation: I am a perfect piece of the Universe, just as I am.
Numerology of the Month: 7
Seven is the holiest of numbers. Seven is a number of the esoteric; spirituality; spiritual awakening, awareness, enlightenment and development; mysticism; intuition and psychic senses; deep contemplation and introspection; mental analysis and philosophy; seeking knowledge and learning; inner truths and wisdoms; understanding and discernment; refinement and alchemy; and the persistence of purpose.
Sacred Symbol of the Month: Hind (female deer)
A hind is a doe (female) Red Deer. They are a symbol of the feminine often associated with a Goddess. The Celtic woodland Goddess Flidhais often took this form, as did Diana, where they led men on mystical adventures. The hind is a delicate and shy creature that seems to effortlessly and gracefully sprint about without tiring easily. As such they are associated with wisdom; and just as the hunter pursues the hind, we pursue wisdom. Wisdom from the tree of knowledge and the apple.
Angel Number of the Month: 688
Your joy and gratitude keep the gates of abundance open for you, so continue to focus on what you have and you will attract even more into your life.
Sacred Herbs & Plants of the Month: Birch
Birch has a long history of being used for purification and protection, and a sacred tree to the Celts. It is a very popular wood for Christmas/Yule/Winter Solstice decorations, both real and artificial, because it is a symbol for rebirth and renewal after the harsh winter months. It is because of this same sacred symbolism that Maypoles are made from birch. Burn birch in the fireplace for prosperity and protection of the home, hang above doorways for good luck and warding off evil, and use a birch broom to physically and energetically cleanse your floors/home.
